Allegations Of Animal Abuse Pile Up For Operator Of Cellular Pet Salon In San Jose

Rachel Murphy has expressed deep concern over the traumatic experience his five-pound dog, Toto , went through last weekend. Rachel claims that a groomer taped Toto r’s mouth shut when it was bitten. This resulted in the dog looking bloody and being distressed.

Rachel told the story, "My puppy was in obvious distress. What I initially believed was a mask turned out be tape. Toto r was clearly injured and his paws were red. His toenails, cut too closely to the paws likely caused him to bite.

Wow! My Dog mobile pet salon employed the groomer in question.

Rachel rushed Toto to a veterinarian immediately for medical treatment. He joined a number of others in accusing Wow! My Dog for animal abuse. San Mateo's Office has now launched an animal cruelty investigation into Wow! My Dog.

Rachel explained the injuries that he saw, saying, "I observed wounds around the neck and genital region." These cuts were so bad that they bled."

Marianna De las Vegas - a Wow! My Dog client - posted a Yelp comment detailing how his pets had been returned to him unwell or injure. A Snapchat video captured by a customer showed a dog with obvious pain. He claimed that the groomer had forcedly inserted a towel into its ear.

Wow! My Dog also wants to make sure that customers are aware of the information the groomer gave him as someone who was trusted with the well-being of their pet. Rachel shared, "Juliann informed me that taping the mouth shut is a normal and acceptable method, claiming it is preferable to using a muzzle, which he believes can be harmful to dogs. He also said he personally used this method on his dog."

Gate News contacted Wow! My Dog who answered it but handed it off to a woman, who informed her that she was investigating the allegations. However, when questioned about Wow! My Dog, she quickly asserted that it was a animal abuse experts separate entity before abruptly ending the call.
